What is the best Linux Distro out there right now for a home computer?

Question by Mike: What is the best Linux Distro out there right now for a home computer?
I need something that is a bit more user friendly, and is best for a computer used at home. At the same time I dont want it to be too limited as far as options since I am actually new to Linux and want to take some time to study the OS.
