How do you install linux on windows platform?

Question by s7artan007: How do you install linux on windows platform?
I would like to know how to install Linux onto a windows sp2 xp but it's a factory computer. I want to know how to install it with the drivers still intact and my windows still functioning and usable.

Answer by sivart7555find partition software (Paragon or similar) partition off about 15-20gb and then install the linux distro on the extra space.
