Yahoo to Invest $500 Million in Data Center Expansions

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Yahoo has revealed plans to invest $500 million in expanding its data center infrastructure, according to a report Friday by Data Center Knowledge.


Yahoo says it plans to build in 2012 and beyond. The planned expansion includes existing data centers in Buffalo, Omaha and Washington state and new facilities in Singapore and Switzerland.
