Oracle Acquires Storage Firm Pillar Data Systems

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Oracle (www.oracle.com) announced on Wednesday it will acquire storage solutions provider Pillar Data Systems (www.pillardata.com). The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.


Expected to close in July, the acquisition will help Oracle deliver a complete line of storage products that runs the company's software faster and more efficiently.
