Do you only change info on the domain side when you change your hosting company?

Question by Jona B: Do you only change info on the domain side when you change your hosting company?
I changed my hosting company from yahoo shared hosting to godaddy Virtual dedicated hosting.. everything seems to be set and i downgraded my hosting at yahoo to only domain and changed the A address to point to the new ip of my site.

do i need to do anything else on the godaddy side for it to work? or i just have to wait for the time being?
